Château Pape Clément

Internationally renowned, Château Pape Clément is one of Bordeaux's oldest Grands Crus.

Its history is marked by the man who bequeathed its name and made its wine a legend: Bertrand de Goth (1264 - 1314), future Pope Clement V. Since 1985, Bernard Magrez has owned the Château and strives every day to pay homage to this magnificent terroir.

Located in Pessac, the estate belongs to the Pessac-Léognan appellation d'origine contrôlée, and more widely to the Graves wine-growing area. Benefiting from an exceptionally diverse soil, this terroir is a perfect blend of passion and hard work. Each plot, each vine, each berry is cared for according to the rules of an age-old art.
