This is a unique way of discovering and learning about Grand Cru Classé wines! Just create the blend that suits your taste and depart with a souvenir bottle of your personal cuvée to enjoy with your friends.
Before taking part in this B-Winemaker experience, you visit the vat room and cellars with the Château’s sommelier.
Having tasted wines made from the Cabernet and Merlot grapes, it’s your turn to be the winemaker by composing different blends using professional test-tubes. After comparing your trial samples, you pour your chosen blend into a bottle, which you then cork and capsule. You finally design your own label for your souvenir bottle and very own cuvée selection to take away and enjoy with friends.
At the completion of the workshop, a wine from the Château is tasted.

After a tour given by the cellarmaster, who explains the estate’s history and technical facilities, you taste 5 vintages of Pape Clément red (a vertical tasting) as well as our stunning Pape Clément white.
This is a private estate tour and tasting.
Give your senses a thrill

Here, you can discover wine in a unique, fun way.
Relax and let yourself be guided on a sensorial journey made up of both delicate sensations and surges of excitement.
The tour begins with a feast for the eyes, as guests admire the vineyard and all the changes it has undergone from the year 1250 until the present-day.
Then the focus changes to our sense of touch through feeling the texture of the terroirs and the vine plants.
In the cellars, your sense of smell is immediately aroused by the aromas of oak wood and the vintages of wine that are in the process of being created.
And then, to enhance the experience, our taste-buds undergo the challenge of a blind tasting.
To complete this sensorial journey, a tasting of wines is given accompanied by different background sonorities, in order to show how our appreciation of wines can be influenced by sound.
